The 424 Linx is bristling with features, innovation and technology. Capable of testing 2wd and 4wd vehicles, the WINPEP 7 software can deliver a wealth of information about the performance levels of your car.
Each road roller can handle 2000hp! That means a 4wd car can be tested to an amazing 4000hp! Speed? No problems there either. The
424 Linx can handle a 2wd car at 200mph (320kph) and 180mph (260kph) for a 4wd car.
The details.
The 424 Linx is housed in a purpose built DynoRoom measuring 12mts x 8mts. The Dyno Rollers are sunk into the ground meaning that no ramps are required. The DynoRoom features a 'customer viewing area' where you can see your car being tested. Tea, coffee and food will be available to make your stay more pleasant.
Wide Band Air / Fuel Ratio System
The Wide Band is a tuners best friend. Every DynoRun can show the horsepower and torque and the exact air / fuel ratio. Lean or rich, the WideBand system shows the air / fuel ratio from idle to full throttle. Normally aspirated or forced injection, you will know the tune is right!
Eddy Current Load Absorbtion Unit
This enables the vehicle to be tested under different load settings, for example, when towing. The Eddy Current Load Absorption Unit utilizes an integrated Torque Cell to quantify power absorption in an ultra precise and consistent manner. An additional feature is a quick and effective calibration routine that can be accomplished in under a minute.
4 Channel Analogue Module
The Analogue Module allows 4 additional 0-5v based sensors to be logged during DynoRuns. This allows data such as boost, fuel pressure to be displayed alongside the HP / TRQ channels. The Winpep7 software has a built in sensor calibration routine that makes setup simple.
